Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our centres that we hope makes it easier for you to
choose childcare that is best suited to you. Child Care Toowoomba - Kate's Place Early Education &
Child Care Centres have been caring for the children of Toowoomba since 1993. Our aim is to promote,
develop, resource and manage high quality children’s services. This is based on the philosophy that
affordable, high quality child care should be available and accessible to all families.
Child Care Toowoomba - Kate's Place Early Education and Child Care Centres are special places where
children can play and learn in a safe, happy and healthy environment and where the strengths, interests and needs
of each child are recognised.
At Child Care Toowoomba - Kate's Place Early Education and Child Care Centres we feel each child is unique
and we strive to reach each child’s full potential. We welcome all children, from all cultures to experience through play
the “joys of childhood”. We welcome children with special needs where their needs can be provided for within the scope
of the childcare setting. We provide a child centered flexible program that facilitates learning in all areas of development.
The program fosters the concept of learning in play and develops self esteem, independence and self expression.
All activities and experiences are age appropriate while using a variety of resources. We encourage children to explore
and investigate the environment and form social networks as we believe these are skills children will use in everyday life.

Child Care Toowoomba - Kate's Place Early Education and Child Care Centres staff are qualified, committed, warm and friendly people who create a fun atmosphere.
Staff are proactive in the area of professional
development and regularly attend seminars and workshops on a variety of child related topics. All staff comply with the current Child Care Act & Regulation. Due to holidays and sick days, casual staff are required and we endeavour to keep a relief list of good quality supply staff. All staff are required to hold a Suitability Notice issued by the Commission for Children and Young People. |

Child Care Toowoomba - Kate's Place Early Education and Child Care Centres daily programs consist of both indoor and outdoor activities focusing on all areas of development--social, physical & emotional. Children are involved in art, craft, music & movement, language, stories, nature & science, dramatic play, sand & water
play, maths & construction, learning independence and assisting in easy tasks throughout the day. Meals and rest time are also an important part of the program. |
